Lead a large team to deliver outstanding sales and people practices ensure a memorable McDonald's experience. Exceed profit and growth through the ongoing monitoring of budgets; developing strategies and plans to effectively and appropriately respond to trends. Utilise restaurant metrics and reporting data to assess progress against goals and identify actions if required Leads the compliance for all safety and security standards which includes investigating all incidents and taking corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and customers. Guarantee staffing with well-trained and happy staff from hiring through to perf. management processes up to including terminating employment if required. Lead the maintenance team to ensure equipment and infrastructure is maintained and the large level of stock on hand is effectively managed. Create and execute a quarterly sales plan incl. marketing initiatives, local business leader interactions and pricing. Ideally someone who has worked in MacDonald's in the position of shift manager and stepped in as restaurant manager and or someone who has worked in a retail outlet with customer focus. We are looking for a restaurant manager to lead a busy operation. This role is for self-starters with a high level of initiative, boundless energy, passionate about engaging a team and capable of delivering exceptional customer focused results. The role is based in our St Lukes restaurant. To be successful in our group, you will be customer centric, excel in achieving business results, excellent communicator and ability to inspire those around you. You will work varied shifts to lead your team where customers visit us most. This business operates day and night – a restaurant manager is expected to work all dayparts as no better place to be than the ‘hum’ of serving customers a great experience.
Job Requirements
All applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience at Restaurant Manager level or equivalent leadership level. Must have a proven record of leading a McDonalds restaurant, have the McDonalds RLP/LGR qual. Tertiary level qualifications Must be proficient in use of excel, word and confidence with IT platforms.
