What you’ll do As a Claims Consultant, you’ll guide our customers through the claims process, making it as smooth and stress-free as possible. Your role includes: • Proactively managing claims from start to finish. • Showing empathy and care while keeping customers informed every step of the way. • Explaining policy benefits and answering customer questions clearly. • Investigating, assessing, and negotiating claims settlements. • Perform analysis of legal liability related to accidents. • Tracking down information and third parties to move claims forward. • Documenting claims accurately and meeting service targets. • Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
What you’ll bring • 2+ years’ motor claims experience in New Zealand. • A self-motivated and tenacious mindset — you go the extra mile to find solutions and progress claims. • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a customer-first approach. • Empathy and professionalism when dealing with clients in stressful situations. • Great time management and attention to detail. • Ability to make sound decisions and manage multiple priorities. • Computer savvy (Windows and MS Office). • Extra language skills (e.g., Mandarin) are a bonus. Job Requirements
Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit. Must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice and Credit checks. Role is based fully onsite. 2 plus years Motor Claims experience in New Zealand. Bilingual in Mandarin an advantage.
