Fabricator Welder (Stainless)

Complete high-quality stainless-steel welding and fabrication work with minimal supervision and need for rework. Read and interpret plans Use all required machinery and equipment in an engineering workshop Supports team-mates stepping in to deliver quality outcomes Achieves to customer deadlines, timeframes and budgets Manages diverse challenges Maintains work sites in a safe, tidy and hygienic condition Completes work outside of routine stainless-steel welding and fabrication tasks as and when required. Understands and follows Health and safety procedures, policies and systems.

• Be Trade Certified in a relevant mechanical engineering field, or be able to demonstrate the equivalent work experience (5+ years preferred) • Have a proven background of welding and fabricating in stainless and alloy • A good working knowledge of machines, tools and equipment used in both stainless-steel welding and fabrication work. • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Current Drivers Licence - Class One, mandatory. Classes Two, Three, Four, Five; Wheels, Track and Forklift Endorsements preferred.
