Class 5 Truck Driver - fixed term work March - June

We are seeking experienced and reliable Class 5 Truck Drivers to join our team for the upcoming kiwifruit harvest season. This role involves transporting full and empty kiwifruit bins between orchards and packhouses safely and efficiently during peak harvest operations. This is a fast-paced, seasonal role requiring strong driving skills, good time management, and a commitment to health and safety. Key Responsibilities - Transport kiwifruit bins to and from orchards and packhouses - Safely load, secure, and unload bins as required - Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections - Ensure loads are secured in compliance with NZTA regulations - Complete delivery documentation accurately - Communicate effectively with orchard staff, dispatch, and packhouse teams - Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies - Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle Skills & Experience Required - Current and valid NZ Class 5 Driver Licence - Proven heavy vehicle driving experience - Good understanding of NZTA road transport regulations - Ability to work long hours during peak harvest periods - Strong awareness of health and safety requirements - Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

- Current and valid NZ Class 5 Driver Licence (proven heavy vehicle driving experience) - Ability to pass a pre-employment checks - Police vetting and drug test - Clean driving record - Flexible availability (including early starts, late finishes, and weekends if required)
