Looking for an experienced Car Parts Dismantler to join a well-established workshop based in Onehunga. If you have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities • Dismantle old or damaged vehicles to remove usable parts for resale • Remove components such as engines, gearboxes, panels, and other mechanical parts • Clean, inspect, and catalogue parts for inventory • Safely dispose of hazardous materials in line with environmental regulations • Operate hand and power tools efficiently and safely • Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required • Maintain a clean and organised workshop in accordance with health and safety standards
Job Requirements
• Strong knowledge of engines and hands-on engine diagnostics and repair experience preferred • Must have automotive industry experience • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role • Full or restricted driver’s licence • Strong communication skills • High attention to detail • Excellent problem-solving skills • Able to pass a MOJ check and a drug test

- Mon-Fri; Standard working hours between 8 am to 5:30 pm (30 hours per week)
