Part time Housekeeper & Casual laundry & cleaning Assistants

A Local Mosgiel aged care facility is on the hunt for a permeant part time Housekeeper to provide a clean and safe environment for their residents. Key tasks and duties include: - Provide high quality cleaning services in a safe manner - Ensure accurate reporting to the Domestic Services Manager or Nurse Manager - Demonstrate an ability to work as a member of the health care team - Participate in the process of continuous quality improvement - Be aware of health and safety responsibilities relating to area of work The position is Thursday and Fridays, 8.30am-12.30pm and Saturdays, 8.30am-1.30pm. Additionally, our employer is also seeking casual cleaners and laundry assistants. These roles are on call based and could be any day of the week including weekends and public holidays. Casual cleaning hours will usually be 8.30am-12.30pm and laundry positions usually 8.30am-3.30pm. No prior experience is required for any of these positions as training will be provided however preference will be provided to applicants who can demonstrate transferable skills and experience.

- Must be physically fit and able to undertake heavy lifting etc - Must have reliable transport to Mosgiel work location - Must be reliable with a strong work ethic - Must be respectful with good communication skills - Must have an up to date presentable CV and two contactable references - Prior transferable skills and experience preferred but not mandatory - Pass a pre-employment drug test - Pass a pre-employment criminal background check (driving related charges may be considered on a case by case basis)
