Community Services Manager needed for full-time role in Penrose.
The Community Services Manager provides leadership coordination and oversight across the organisations community and social service programmes. This role ensures frontline services are compliant, culturally grounded, well resourced, and aligned with MSD and other funder expectations.
Key Responsibilities • Oversee delivery of multiple community programmes Youth Whanau Resilience Talanoa Ako Mens Behaviour Change Pastoral & Community Services • Lead and support programme staff facilitators and coordinators • Ensure MSD and funder compliance reporting and documentation standards • Maintain strong relationships with church branches community leaders MSD and partner agencies • Support staff recruitment onboarding supervision and performance • Contribute to programme development improvement and community impact
Job Requirements
Experience in community services or programme management Strong understanding of MSD-funded environments High cultural competency, particularly with Pacific communities Full NZ Driver Licence Legal entitlement to work in Aotearoa New Zealand Police Vetting required due to work with families and vulnerable populations
