The position is accountable and responsible for the Operation of the Chipping Plant to produce quality product in accordance with the client’s KPI’s by controlling the flow and quality of logs being fed into the chipping plant to maximize production flow and output as per the production schedule. The Chipping Plant operations are controlled from the chip feed static electric excavator and the successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate •Previous experience in the operation of an excavator, •Problem-solving skills, •Mechanical aptitude, •The ability to relate to other members of the chipping team. A class 2 licence and W endorsement would be desirable but not essential for the position
Job Requirements
Candidates need to hold a full class 2 licence, a W endorsement a wheeled loader. Candidates will need to pass a pre employment drug test.
