Job Vacancy: Entry-Level Log Scaler – Kinleith Log Yard We’re seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Log Scaler at the busy Kinleith Mill. This is an entry-level role with full training provided, ideal for someone looking to start a career in the forestry and rail sector. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately scale and Measure logs for quality and volume Water blasting log ends and railway wagons Climbing onto and down from railway wagons safely Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the yard
Requirements:
Fit and healthy – able to work on your feet and handle physical tasks Drug-free and committed to safety Able to work 10-hour days in an outdoor environment Must be able to travel to Kinleith Log Yard daily Must hold a Full Driver’s Licence Comfortable working in all weather conditions
