Local Delivery Driver
About this job
We are looking for a Class 2 truck driver to join our Gisborne based local delivery's. You must have a DG's licence or the ability to get one.
Role duties: • Delivering general freight - manual handling required. • A positive, friendly attitude is essential, as you'll be engaging with a wide range of customers at drop off points throughout the day. • Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour
8am starts Monday to Friday. Guaranteed 20 hours per week (extra hours maybe available depending on freight Permanent opportunities may become available.
Job Requirements
• A valid class 2 driver’s license and ideally experience in a delivery or driving role. • You must have a DG's licence or the ability to get one • You must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test and pass induction test from TGE. • A commitment to punctuality, reliability, and careful handling of goods. • A positive attitude and willingness to help in other areas when needed. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
