Gardener/Groundsperson

Working for a national garden care company, the job involves the following: • General gardening, from weeding, seasonal detailing, planting and everything in between. • Turf Care, hand and ride-on mowing, • Weed and pest management. • Hard surface renovations. • Clearing of leaf litter and debris. • Irrigation installation and repairs. • Minor amenity tree maintenance. • Hedge trimming. • Weed management with organic sprays. • Monitoring for plant pests and diseases. • Conversations directly with our clients and property users, catering to garden requests and queries. • Working within a team, up-skilling and supporting while creating a friendly and productive work environment. • To be passionate about grounds and gardens • A positive, proactive and hard working attitude • Great communication and people skills • Good level of fitness and physical ability and the ability to use outdoor hand and power tools • Full, clean NZ driver's license and own transport • First aid and Grow-safe certificates beneficial but we can up-skill the right candidate • 6+ months experience preferable, not essential
