We are looking for a Dyehouse operator.

For this role: • you will need to be able to follow detailed dyeing procedures so good numeracy and literacy skills are required. • You will also be manual handling leather products so you will need to be able to do repetitive heavy lifting as part of this role. • The successful applicant will start with the fleshing crew processing hides. They will then be trained up for the Dyehouse process operator role. • Applicants need to be able to pass the drug test. • Initially the work will be 40 hours per week following the Tuesday to Sunday fleshing shifts. • Once trained, the Dyehouse operator role is a day or nightshift shift of 12 hours, with 4 days on and 2 days off.

Job Requirements

• Able to follow detailed procedures. So, numeracy and literacy skills are needed. • Physically fit for lifting involved. • Pass the drug test. • Able to work shifts. • Convictions considered on a case-by-case basis.

Days of work
Initially 40 hours per week following the Tuesday to Saturday shifts this will move to 4 days/nights on and 2 days/nights off. (40 hours per week)
