Wood Selector/Yard Hand (Reporoa)

A Reporoa-based wood manufacturing company is looking to recruit two Green Production/Yard Hands to carry out wood product grading, sorting, strapping etc, along with other duties as needed on site. There’s plenty of manual handling so you need to be hearty, fit and resilient to fill these roles. Sorting takes place outdoors undercover, whatever the weather, and you will be on your feet all day. Lots of on-the-job training is provided so previous experience is not essential. The company is situated approx. 30 minutes from Taupo township and 30-40 mins from Rotorua. Transport is offered to those in selected areas like Rotorua, Turangi and Murapara/Kiangaroa. Early starts are required. The ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, be physically fit and healthy, and have a good work history – reliability is essential. You must be able to pass a drug test. Must be willing to learn and follow instruction.
