General Labourer

A local engineering firm is seeking an experienced General Labourer to work on a dam site for an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of permanent employment. Duties & Responsibilities:
General labouring duties on an active engineering site
Assisting trades and engineers as required
Drilling into concrete and fixing bolts
Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Manual handling and heavy lifting
Working in confined spaces when required
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Following site safety procedures at all times

Job Requirements
Previous experience as a labourer, preferably on construction or engineering sites
Handy, practical, and confident using tools
Comfortable drilling concrete, fixing bolts, and carrying out basic mechanical tasks
Able to think for yourself and work with minimal supervision
Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
Comfortable working in confined spaces
Strong awareness of health and safety
Reliable, punctual, and hard-working

- Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm (Maybe be the occasional Saturday (50 hours per week)
