Sewing Machinist
About this job
An experienced sewing machinist is needed for a Christchurch based role. This is production line work which entails quality checking, production preparation, fabric laying and component preparation, pattern making, product designing and prototyping/sampling and repairing outdoor gear including back packs, tents and heavy duty items. Sewing experience on heavy weight fabrics and machines is a requirement, so if this sounds like you, apply now.
Job Requirements
Essential: Sewing experience on heavy weight fabrics and machines is a definite advantage. Preferable: As you will be working with military items, an understanding of MOLLE/PALS platforms will be greatly advantageous. Must have clear communication and work well in a team.

- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm or 6.30am to 2.30pm (30 hours per week)
