Support Worker - Cambridge

We’re seeking a caring and motivated Support Worker to make a real difference in our Cambridge community. As a Support Worker, you’ll help clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives through practical and emotional support.

Tasks May Include: • Meal preparation • Community outings and integration • Medication support • Personal care (showering, toileting, etc.) • Manual handling, and hoist transfers • Home management tasks

• A Level 2 or above Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or if you are working towards a Level 2. • Sound communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to pass a Ministry of justice check • Computer literacy and ability to use Apps • Ability to work competently with challenging behaviours • Well organised, with the ability to problem solve effectively and respond effectively under pressure • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team • Hold a current drivers licence (a full licence is required for many services) • The ability to undertake the physical requirements of the position
