Front of House Supervisor

A renowned vineyard restaurant located on Waiheke Island, known for exceptional service, seasonal cuisine, and unforgettable views is looking for experienced Front of House Supervisors to support daily operations and lead a passionate service team in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
Food & Beverage Service:
• Greet customers as they arrive & seat them in a timely manner with menu. • Handle own section of tables. • Answer any food & beverage questions from guest. • Conduct small & large group wine tastings. • Serve wine & beverages to a fine dining standard. • Making cocktails, coffees to a high standard. • Keeping bar fridge and wine store areas, glass shelves, spirit bottles etc clean, wiped down, dusted, swept.
Supervising duties: • Arrange daily seating plan. • Host pre shift meeting with cellar staff, servers & bartenders. • Clear in-service communication with back of house.
Job Requirements
• 2 years’ experience in a similar high-volume, high end restaurant OR NZ Register Level 2 or 3 qualification and 1 year relevant experience. • Applicants with a current LCQ certificate preferred. • Must have an interest in wine. • Must be available to work flexibly on nights, weekends and public holidays.
