Horticultural Nursery Assistant

A well-established family-owned business is looking for a reliable and mature Horticulture Worker to join their tight-knit team located between Bell Block and Lepperton.

This permanent full-time position involves sowing, cutting and packaging a variety of herbs in a heated Greenhouse, so you will need to be strong, fit, and able to walk around, and stand on your feet for long periods of time.

There is a great deal of heavy lifting involved as well as operating machinery using the potting machine, pallet trolleys, and lifting trays.

• You will need to be able to read and follow instructions and efficiency and accuracy is essential. • The successful candidate will be trusted to work to a high standard without supervision and be a team player. • You will need to be drug free test and honesty is needed around convictions. • A restricted licence and transport is a minimum requirement and being able to drive a manual would be an advantage.

Monday to Friday 8 – 4.30pm and once a month Sunday morning 8am to 11am (paid time and a half for 3 hours minimum).
