Takeaway Assistant Senior/Team Leader

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Team Leader/Supervisor to join our takeaway team. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting and leading a small team, and ensuring food is prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining strong hygiene practices, and assisting with stock control and ordering. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, communicates well, and leads by example in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays when rostered is essential, and applicants must be willing to undergo a Police Check if required.

Training provided to the right suitable client

Experience in fast food or takeaway operations (customer service ) Proven experience supervising or leading small teams Knowledge of cooking to demand, or willingness to learn Experience with cash handling, EFTPOS and POS systems Knowledge of stocktake and ordering processes Strong communication and listening skills Calm, reliable, and team-focused attitude knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Experience handling filleted fish (preferred) Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays when rostered Willingness to undergo a Police Check and drug test reliable transport ( restricted/full license ) motivated and keen to take charge of handling tasks when needing done
