Duty Manager

A Bar/Restaurant/Cafe in Beachlands is looking for a Full-time Bartender to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

• Complying with the Liquor Licensing Act 2012. • Ensuring all menu items, promotions, indoor marketing specials and merchandizing are prepared and presented in an efficient manner to the customers. • Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness is maintained with the highest standard by complying with leaning and maintenance schedules. • Following Food Safety Requirements and workplace Healthy and Safety Regulations. • Assisting in the cleaning and wash up area workload. • Maintaining high level of customer service and satisfaction. • Assisting in maximum productivity and profitability, minimizing wastage. • Communicating with suppliers, ensuring correct and quality of product is received.

• Must have either a minimum of one year of work experience or related Higher Secondary qualification in case of no work experience is required (overseas equivalent qualification or experience is also acceptable). • Liquor Controller Qualifications (preferable but no essential). • Knowledge of Cafe & Bar Operations and Coffee Procedures (preferable but no essential). • Knowledge of Food Control Plan (preferable but no essential). • Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Regulations (preferable but no essential). • Must be available over weekends and for rostered shifts. • Must pass MOJ and drug test.
