We’re looking for experienced Barista and Cafe Assistant to join our busy, high-volume team in Porirua. If you love making great coffee, thrive under pressure, and bring energy and positivity to every shift – this could be the perfect fit for you!
Baristas Key Responsibilities: - Prepare a full range of hot and cold beverages to a high standard - Deliver outstanding customer service and build relationships with regulars - Serve food, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a smooth workflow - Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment - Help create a fun, welcoming vibe in the cafe - Uphold brand, standards, and presentation
Cafe Assistant Responsibilities: - Craft delicious hot and cold drinks to a high standard - Deliver friendly, professional service and build rapport with our regulars - Help keep our cafe clean, stocked, and running smoothly - Set up food displays and assist with daily cafe operations - Bring energy, teamwork, and positivity to every shift
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years’ barista experience in a busy cafe - Confidence under pressure and strong multitasking skills - Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic approach - Ability to work weekends and late nights - Strong communication and a can-do attitude - Commitment to teamwork, reliability, and high standards - Basic baking skills
We’ll provide full training on our systems and expectations – but you’ll need to bring the energy, skill, and love for coffee.

- Typical hours are 9:00am–3:30pm, and on Thursdays 9:00am–6:00pm. (30 hours per week)
