Forklift Operator - 2026 Kiwifruit Harvest Season

We are seeking reliable Forklift Drivers to support kiwifruit orchard operations during the 2026 harvest season (first week of March - mid June 2026). The role involves safely operating forklifts to move kiwifruit bins, load and unload trucks. Work is located across various orchards around the Bay of Plenty - Welcome Bay, Te Puke, Katikati Key Responsibilities - Operate forklift safely to move full and empty kiwifruit bins - Load and unload bins onto trucks and trailers - Transport fruit between orchard blocks, loading areas, and storage - Stack bins correctly to prevent damage to fruit and equipment - Conduct daily pre-start forklift checks and report faults - Follow health and safety procedures at all times - Work closely with orchard and harvest teams - Maintain a clean and safe work area Skills & Attributes -Competent and confident forklift operation -Strong awareness of health and safety -Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment -Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions - Good communication and teamwork skills

- Full Class 1 Drivers Licence with F endorsement and current OSH Certificate - Ability to pass pre-employment drug test company also conducts 'reason for cause' testing - Flexibility to work full time Mon to Sunday (weather dependent) 7.00 am to 7.00pm - work every fine day (40 - 60 hours per week) - Have reliable transport for work
