Packhouse Worker

A large horticulture business is looking for 4 X Indoor Packhouse Workers. The key duties of this role is to sort, grade and pack fruit / vegetables to various customer requirements (specifications), safe operation of machinery, wrapping and strapping of pallets for dispatching, cleaning of machinery and surrounding areas, other general tasks as required. The workload of this role is seasonally dependent, and some Saturday work may be required.
Job Requirements
• Must be reliable with good attendance record • Must have own reliable transport to get to and from work • Strong enough to lift 10-15kg crates of produce • Ability to follow company processes • Good attention to detail • Minimum numeracy and literacy skills • Able to work independently and as an active team member • Get along with a wide range of people. • Must be able to pass a police check • Random drug testing applies
- Days of work
- Mon-Fri with some Saturday work as required. (30 hours per week)
