Shade House Quality Control
About this job
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Shade House Quality Control Person to join our team during the apple harvest period. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for quality who enjoys hands-on work in a horticultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Take quality samples from full apple bins in the shade house Inspect fruit for quality issues, defects, or inconsistencies Accurately record and report findings Communicate quality concerns to Field Quality Controllers and Management Support overall quality standards from orchard to packout
Job Requirements
Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and punctual Previous horticulture or quality control experience is an advantage, but not essential (training provided) No convictions
