Class 5 Bulk Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver to operate one of our bulk trucks based in Waipapa. This is a hands-on role involving the safe and efficient transport and operation of bulk products to a range of farming and commercial customers.

You will be part of a close-knit, professional team and represent Carters Bulk Haul on the road and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities * Safely drive and operate a Class 5 bulk tip or blower truck * Load, transport, and unload bulk materials efficiently and accurately * Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance needs * Operate equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety standards * Maintain a proactive approach to Health and Safety for yourself and others * Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members * Maintain accurate records, including logbooks and job documentation * Uphold a professional image and road manner at all times.

Job Requirements (Must Have)

* Full Class 5 Driver Licence * Proven experience driving heavy vehicles (bulk tip truck experience preferred) * Strong understanding of Health and Safety practices in transport environments * Professional and courteous road manner * Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused work ethic * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Physically capable of completing the demands of the role * Willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Preferred (Nice to Have)

* Experience with bulk tip or blower trucks * Familiarity with rural, farming, or sawmill environments * Mechanical awareness or basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
