A busy automotive panel and paint repair shop seeking a Fitter / Stripper to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who wants to grow within the automotive repair industry.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Description As a Fitter / Stripper, you will be responsible for the removal and refitting of vehicle panels and components in preparation for panel and paint repairs. You will work closely with panel beaters and painters to ensure vehicles are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include: - Removing and refitting bumpers, body panels, trims, lights, and related components - Ensuring all parts are carefully handled, stored, and labelled - Identifying and reporting any damage or issues during strip-down - Maintaining a clean and safe work environment - Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet deadlines and quality standards

Job Requirements

- Previous experience as a fitter/stripper or in a similar automotive role preferred but not essential - Strong attention to detail and a responsible work ethic - Ability to work well within a team environment - Full driver’s licence preferred (restricted may be considered) - Criminal convictions may be considered on a case-by-case basis - Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test - Ongoing random drug testing may apply
