We are seeking a dynamic and reliable Serviceperson to join our Hauraki-based business.
About the role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations at Hauraki District Council Refuse Transfer Stations (RTS) and Recycling Centres, located in Ngatea, Paeroa, and Waihi. The role involves providing friendly, professional assistance to all users and visitors, while ensuring the facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in line with operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
-Manage daily operations at RTS and Recycling Centres
-Assist customers and visitors on site
-Operate machinery safely and efficiently
-Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
Job Requirements
-Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test. -Must be able to operate a Digger, hold a class 2 licence. -Hold Wheels, Tracks and Rollers plus forklift endorsements. -Hazardous Substance Handling advantageous. -Must have reliable transport. -Able to pass MOJ and drug test.
