Our Mosgiel employer is looking to grow their team with permanent positions now available in their garden, giftware and floristry departments. They are an exciting retail and entertainment destination in Mosgiel, their range of services is second to none and they are proud of our loyal customer base.
The focus of all their staff is providing exceptional customer service. You may be assisting people with their gardening needs, giving advice on gardens or loading trailers with their bulk mixes. If gardening isn’t yet your strong suit you might assist customers to find the perfect gift, create delicious real fruit ice creams, ice cream sundaes and milkshakes, or design beautiful flower bouquets and serve customers with their entertainment purchases.
The positions are negotiable but would be a minimum of 16 hours and a maximum of 32 hours a week including a weekend day.
To join our team, you will need to have some or all of the following: - Excellent communication skills and a friendly inviting manner - Be a team player and interact well with other staff and management. - Be able to work under pressure with a pleasant efficiency during busy times. - The ability to adapt to where is needed with the willingness to learn - Customer service experience in a retail environment is a must - An interest in plants and gardening is advantageous but not essential - Floristry qualification and/or hands on experience is advantageous but not essential - Food handling experience advantageous but not essential
Job Requirements
