Front of House / Waiter

Well establish South Indian Restaurant is seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front of House Staff / Waiters to join our team in Mt Roskill, Auckland.

This role is essential in delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming customers, taking and serving orders, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness of service areas, and supporting overall front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities • Greet customers promptly and professionally, present menus, and explain food and beverage options. • Take customer orders accurately and communicate them clearly to kitchen staff. • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring a high standard of presentation and service. • Clear tables after service and return used items to the kitchen in a timely manner. • Process customer payments using POS systems and provide accurate change when required. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining and service areas in accordance with food safety and hygiene

Must have NZQA Qualification in Hospitality, cookery or related field Basic understanding of Indian cuisine; interest in learning South Indian dishes- preferred Must hold a full Class 1 driver's licence Good customer service skills. Reliable – hardworking Hindi speaking preferred but not mandatory
