Retail & Customer Service Specialist
About this job
Greeting customers and determining their needs & wants. Assisting customers with purchasing decisions, including recommending products & explaining product features. Processing cash & card payments and issuing receipts. Maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, & security practices. Monitoring inventory and restocking shelves as necessary. Keeping the store clean, neat, & organised. Coordinating and supervising junior team members, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and providing training & support. Managing and tracking team performance, providing feedback and addressing concerns as needed. Creating and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Resolving customer complaints and escalating complex issues to higher management as needed. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies & procedures. Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, ordering supplies, & preparing reports
Job Requirements
Ideally candidates will have a minimum of 1 years retail work experience. Qualifications in customer service are an advantage. Must be able to pass pre employment drug test & Police check. Work references are required.
- Days of work
- Shifts are rostered across 7 days per week with start times from 5.30 a.m. and finish times up to 10.30 p.m. (30 hours per week)
