In this role, you’ll build meaningful relationships with residents and their families while delivering high-quality, person-first care in line with individual care plans.

Day to day, you’ll provide personal care support (yes, including helping with showers), keep accurate healthcare documentation such as medication records, and support residents to stay socially active and engaged in the activities they love.

You’ll need a Level 2 NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate (that one’s non-negotiable). You may already have caregiving experience, or you might be the right person we can happily train. A genuine enthusiasm for care, a strong sense of dedication, and a passion for enriching the lives of older people are essential—kindness goes a long way here. You’re a good communicator who works well in a team and understands that the best care is never a solo effort.
