Security Monitor

A national provider of mental health, addiction, disability, offender rehabilitation, wellbeing and housing services requires 2 after hours Security Monitors for its 24/7 surveyed Napier CBD based facility.

These roles are fixed term until 31 July 2026.

As an After Hours Monitor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of residents and their whanau overnight. You’ll patrol the site, monitor security cameras, complete shift reports, and respond to any unusual activity. This is a meaningful role where you can apply your security skills while supporting your community.

Available Hours: 40 Hours full time - Tuesday to Saturday 8:00 pm to 4:30 am 16 Hours part-time - Sunday and Monday, 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

Key Responsibilities: Foster strong relationships with residents and support personnel, becoming their primary point of contact for any concerns. Previous security experience Must hold and maintain First Aid certification including CPR (or be willing and able to complete this). People management and de-escalation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Confidence in writing reports Full NZ driver's license and permanent working rights Pass a drug test Pass an MoJ check
