Apple picking is due to start in March 2026 and we are looking for registrations of interest for pack house workers. Working as part of a team to sort, grade, pack, and stack apples for the export market – full training will be provided. If you are interested, please talk to your Case Manager who will support you to apply online. You will need to attend a seminar at Work and Income Masterton mid February for an information session with the employer.
Job Requirements
You will need to be physically fit; NOT colour blind and able to work 6 days a week. Subsidised transport available to the Greytown Orchard from Masterton with pickups along the way. The season usually lasts 3 months.
