Asphalt Plant Operator (Experienced)

Downer is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to join their Auckland team. You’ll be part of a dedicated crew providing operational support on Asphalt Contracts. In this role, you will ensure asphalt plants are presented, serviced, maintained, and operated in a professional, safe, and efficient manner. You will also ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies while achieving agreed productivity and quality targets.

- Full Class 1 NZ Drivers Licence essential, WTR is beneficial - Experience or exposure to civil plant operations - Mechanical experience will be beneficial - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will work with an extensive range of Downer and contracting crew members - Commitment to a high standard of Health & Safety - Experienced and able to learn computer systems - Must pass drug test - Must be willing to undergo criminal background check (convictions assessed case-by-case)
