An East Tamaki based employer is looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator (Junior) to join their team. The role involves develops, implement, and managing online marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, generate high-value leads, and strengthen customer loyalty.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in boating and fishing, and be familiar with SEO, social media, paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads), content marketing, and email marketing.
This role sits within the recreational boating market, with plenty of opportunities to spend time outdoors and on the water. The employer is looking for someone creative, eager to learn, enthusiastic about recreational activities and being on the water, and able to work well with a highly experienced and tight-knit team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to : • Assist in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms • Manage and optimise content for websites, social media, and email marketing • Support SEO initiatives to improve website visibility and performance • Assist with paid advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads • Create engaging visual and written content using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud • Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports and insights

Job Requirements
• Strong interest in digital media and online marketing (relevant qualification advantageous) • Familiarity with SEO, social media platforms, and content marketing • Experience or working knowledge of WordPress, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt • Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor and on-water environments • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check • Holds at least a Restricted Class 1 driver licence and has reliable transport
Experience Required:
Entry-level role: 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience preferred

- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional weekend work by prior arrangement. (40 hours per week)
