Front of House Supervisor / Duty Manager

Joe’s Garage New Plymouth is looking for an experienced Front of House Supervisor / Duty Manager to lead our service team and help keep our venue running smoothly. What We’re Looking For: • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in hospitality Current Duty Manager certificate is a bonus (we can train you and cover the fees) • Barista and bar experience preferred (training available for the right person) • Flexible availability across weekdays, nights, and weekends Positive, mature outlook; calm under pressure and leads by example • Exceptional people skills; honest, reliable, and team-focused • Cash handling experience and relevant qualifications Strong understanding of food safety standards Experience in a busy venue and capable of leading a small team (4–5 members) • Hardworking, hands-on, and able to get the work done
Job Requirements
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience • Available to work weekends • Must be reliable • Passion for great customer service • Pass MOJ check and drug test
