A local restaurant is looking for dedicated staff to join their team. FOH - casual Responsibilities include: - Taking food and beverage orders, prepare and present food and beverages to a high standard, provide friendly customer service, keep the restaurant clean and tidy and be a team player. - The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a restaurant or cafe; however, training can be offered to candidates who can demonstrate a desire to work in the hospitality industry.
2. Kitchen hand - casual - Have a great attitude. Work well in a team. Can knuckle down and get the work done. Keen to learn from great chefs and advance your cooking career. Hardworking and reliable.
3. Head Chef / Senior Sous Chef If you enjoy a fast-paced kitchen, value systems that work, and take pride in what goes out on the plate, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role: • Lead and support the kitchen team day to day. • Deliver consistent, high-quality food using established Joe’s Garage systems. • Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen standards. • Keep calm under pressure and lead by example. • Work closely with management to drive a positive team culture Menus, recipes, suppliers, and systems are already in place through our franchisor, so you can focus on leading the kitchen, not the paperwork.
What we’re looking for: • Experience in a busy hospitality kitchen Confidence with food prep, cooking, and plating Strong understanding of food safety standards. • Good knowledge of kitchen cleaning and maintenance. • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Senior Chef, Sous Chef, Head Chef, or Executive Chef • Calm, reliable, and hardworking • Capable of leading a small kitchen crew • A great attitude and strong team focus Someone who can knuckle down and get the work done.
