Retail Sales Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team located within Invercargill CBD. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with entry-level experience who is passionate about retail, technology, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: - Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner - Assess customer needs and explain products and services that best meet those needs - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available products, services, competitors, and market conditions - Promote ICT-related goods and services to existing and prospective clients - Prepare quotes, negotiate prices, complete sales, and enter orders using internal systems - Process cash and card payments and balance the till daily - Handle customer refunds and manage customer complaints - Arrange delivery of goods, installation of equipment, and software/service provision - Report to sales management on sales performance and product marketability - Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues - Carry out additional duties as reasonably required

Job Requirements
A valid Class 1 driver licence Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of retail operations and customer service Ability to work across a roster Ability to pass pre-employment checks including Police and Drug and Alcohol if requested
