Class 5 Truck Driver – Long Haul Location: Auckland
An Auckland-based contractor is seeking reliable and experienced Class 5 Truck Drivers for long-haul roles. This is a great opportunity for drivers who are safety-focused, physically fit, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 5 road ranger vehicles on scheduled line haul / long-haul routes - Ensure vehicles have current COF and RUC and are safe to operate - Complete accurate and timely deliveries without damage - Off-load freight using a pallet jack and manual handling where required (25–30 kg) - Complete all required paperwork, including logbooks and proof of delivery - Maintain clean, well-presented, and well-maintained vehicles - Promptly report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues - Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times

Job Requirements
- Class 5 drivers license. - Confident in operating a road ranger gearbox. - Have at least 1 years experience driving Class 5 vehicles. - Must have DG & F endorsements. - Has clean driving record. - Be reliable, safety-focused, and physically fit. - Have good communication skills and a strong work ethic. - Be able to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check. - Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and medical test. - Long haul roles do include overnight stays. Travel is primarily based in the North Island
