Glass House Worker

Seeking a reliable and motivated Glasshouse Worker to support day-to-day operations within a glasshouse environment. This role involves assisting with plant handling, stock management, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. You will play an important part in ensuring plants are well cared for and prepared for sale or distribution, while following all workplace health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities: • Receive, store, and manage inventory of plants, seeds, fertilisers, and nursery supplies • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the glasshouse and storage areas • Assist with potting, transplanting, and general plant care • Monitor plant health and report any pest or disease concerns • Prepare plants for sale or distribution • Follow health and safety procedures at all times

• Minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience or a Level 2 qualification in a related field • Basic knowledge of plant care and nursery operations • Physically fit and able to undertake lifting and work in varying temperatures within a glasshouse environment • Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Reliable and committed to rostered work, including weekends • Reliable transport required
