Courier Driver

Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses safely and on time. • Verify orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy, completeness, and customer satisfaction. • Assist with loading and unloading parcels or goods from vehicles. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving complaints professionally. • Plan and follow daily delivery routes to optimise efficiency. • Maintain delivery vehicles in good working condition, including performing basic maintenance checks such as tire pressure, fluid levels, and cleanliness. • Comply with all road safety and traffic regulations, including speed limits, parking rules, and requirements for transporting goods. • Perform other relevant duties as required to support the smooth operation of courier services.

Relevant experience is preferred but not mandatory as we provide full training. • Willingness to work on weekends as required. • Must hold a valid and clean driver’s license. • A dangerous goods endorsement is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. • Self-motivated and enthusiastic. • Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role. • The candidates will be required to travel within the Hawke's Bay region and occasionally to the Waikato region to meet the business needs. All travel and fuel costs will be covered by the employer.
