A Lead Counsellor in Remuera is looking for a Therapy Aide/Assistant.
Duties include: • Support the Lead Counsellor in delivering therapeutic and mental health programmes. • Help clients work toward individual care plans and rehabilitation goals. • Supervise gym and outdoor activities to improve physical health and social skills. • Teach life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and career planning for independence. • Keep accurate and timely electronic records meeting ACC and Health NZ standards. • Complete daily reports documenting clinical observations and safety checks. • Identify client behavioural issues and report concerns to the Lead Clinician. • Transport vulnerable clients safely to school, appointments, and activities. • Supervise high-needs clients during community outings to ensure safety. • Work collaboratively with NZ Police, Oranga Tamariki, and Corrections.

Job Requirements
Must be able to pass a pre-employment police check and drug test Must hold a full Class 1 driver's licence with reliable transport
