Builder

We are seeking an experienced, self-managing builder to carry out residential renovation work on a private home. This role suits someone who is confident working independently, can manage day-to-day tasks on site, and requires minimal supervision once instructions are given.

The owner will provide direction and scope of work but is looking for a builder who can take ownership of the job on site, plan the work, and complete tasks to a high standard without constant oversight.

This is a 3 days per week role, ideal for an experienced builder looking for consistent, flexible work.

Essential: Experienced builder with proven background in: * Residential house builds and/or * Managing or working independently on renovation projects * Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision * Strong understanding of building processes and renovation work * Reliable and punctual – turns up on time, every scheduled day * Positive attitude and professional approach to work * Able to take instruction and also problem-solve independently * Own reliable vehicle to travel to site (no public transport access) * Convictions considered on a case by case basis - MOJ

Desirable (but not essential): This role is best suited to someone who: * Is confident running their own day on site * Does not need hands-on supervision * Takes pride in quality workmanship * Communicates well and follows direction * Is dependable and consistent
