Experienced Truck & Trailer Driver - Class 5

West Auckland–based employer is seeking two experienced Class 5 Truck & Trailer Drivers.

The summary of the duties you are required to perform are as follows: • You would need to routinely check your truck, weigh the truck before and after it is loaded. • supervise or help with loading the truck. • Check the condition of the load and that it is secure. • Follow correct safety procedures and keep records of, and check invoices for, goods you will carry. • You have to plan the best delivery route • Make deliveries or pick up goods and most importantly keep a logbook of the hours you work. • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. • Collect and verify delivery instructions • Report defects, accidents or violations • Any other duties assigned by the employer

Rostering day or night shift (Monday to Sunday) Be health and safety compliant - This is a major part of our operation and is essential Relevant driver's license Be able to follow and execute instructions We may require you to undergo drug test. Pass a police check. 2+ Years experience of operating a tip Truck & Trailer. Good backing and Jack knifing skills. Good level of physical fitness Reference from previous employers is a must
