Barista / Bartender

A local West Auckland restaurant are looking to hire a FOH/Barista/Bartender to join their team.

• Prepare and serves both coffee and alcoholic non alcoholic drinks. • Welcome guests and assist with suitable seating and provide menus immediately. • Take accurate order of food and drinks and ensure dietary restrictions are communicated clearly to the chef and other kitchen staff. • Serve food and beverages and recommend other additional items such as entree or desserts. • Be attentive to the needs and requirements of the guests Process payments accurately with either cash or eftpos or credit cards. • Maintain cleanliness of coffee and bar area including all other areas including chairs, tables and floors . • Ensure that the drink and dining area is clean and presentable at all times. • Work and communicate effectively with all the staff to ensure excellent service . • Deal with guest’s concerns and complaints in a very professional manner and refer the matter to the restaurant manager on duty if cannot be resolved.

Must have:

• At least 6 months of bartending AND Barista experience. • A current LCQ. • Customer service skills. • A reliable transport to get to and from work. • The ability to pass MOJ and drug test. • The ability to work flexibly on a split shift and weekends.
