A local hair and beauty salon is seeking a motivated and reliable Beauty Salon Assistant to join their friendly team in Papatoetoe.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in the hair or beauty industry who enjoys working in a fast-paced salon environment and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: • Assisting hairdressers with day-to-day salon tasks • Answering phones and managing client bookings • Preparing clients and maintaining a clean and tidy salon • Supporting the team during busy periods • Providing a welcoming and professional experience for clients
Job Requirements
• Previous experience in the hair or beauty industry • Flexible availability, including both Saturdays and Sundays • Ability to pass a pre-employment check (MOJ/drug) • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented • Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to get stuck in and help where needed

- Tuesday to Sunday between 10.00 AM to 7.00 PM (30 hours per week)

- $24.00ph to$25.00ph depending on experience
