A well established Auckland based manufacturing and distribution company supplying the construction market with plumbing and drainage products is seeking applications for this exciting and unique opportunity based at their North Shore headquarters.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, skilled Welder/Fabricator to join the team of 40 people in their stainless steel workshop on Auckland’s north shore.
The successful applicant must have:
• Experience in Tig and Mig Welding • Experience in Press Brake operation • A good attitude and work ethic. • Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team. • Good attendance and punctual time keeping.
Job Requirements
Trade qualified light fabricator experience in stainless is preferred, but you must have at least 3 years’ experience in sheet metal fabrication,
The ideal applicant would be an experienced and motivated Sheet Metal worker with a can-do attitude who is able to weld and fold a thin to medium gauge material with a good balance of attention to detail and speed. They will be versatile, take pride in their work, be able to read detailed drawings, follow procedure and see a job through from start to finish.
Successful candidate must pass all pre-employment checks - police, health and drug tests.
Reliable transportation to go to work is ideal.
