Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Bakery Assistant to work in a permanent position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food environment and delivering friendly customer service. You will be: Preparation of sandwiches, bread rolls, and other bakery items in accordance with food safety standards
Front-of-house duties including customer service, taking orders, and handling transactions
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of food preparation and customer service areas
Stock rotation, replenishment of displays, and basic food handling tasks
Working efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production and service requirements
Barista skills are advantageous

Job Requirements
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work early mornings and within a rotating roster
Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Days of work
- Early start and early finish, shifts being 3am to 11am. Rotating 4 days on / 4 days off roster (30 hours per week)
