Truck Drivers

Seeking experienced Class 5 Heavy Combination Truck Drivers for Auckland-wide transportation; no overnights required. This role also requires applicants to drive Class 2-4 from time to time besides Class 5, so applications for other Driver Classes with roading experience are also welcomed. Duties will include but not be limited to: - manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading - loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles - making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely - estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight - ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage - verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries.

- Hold NZ Classes either Full class 2-5 driver licence, ideal 1-5 (not certificates but have roading experience). - Hold a clean driving record. - Must be able to pass pre-employment checks such as medical (if required), a drug test and MOJ check. - Reliable and flexible to drive other classes of trucks as well as Class 5 when required. - Be reasonably physically fit to lift loads. - A good attitude and gets along well with others. - Taken responsibility of the truck to ensure it is always clean, tidy and no smoking inside the truck. - Adhere to Health and Safety and NZTA Policies and requirements. - Complete logbook and documents as required. - Flexible with working hours and available to work weekends when required.
