Senior Waiter

Job Description • Maintain a high standard of table service • Take food and beverage orders • Ensure that guests receive efficient and courteous service at all times • Interact with guests and advise on wine, beverage options • Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of all menu items • Use sales techniques to up-sell or add-on sell on menu items • Ensure accuracy of table bills, all items are charged and correct • Impart knowledge, skills and training to all front-of-house staff • Use booking system to check in guests, transfer tables and make reservations • Ensure equipment and environments are operational and kept clean and tidy • Follow Restaurant procedures and checklists to ensure a high standard of guest service and satisfaction • Ensure relationships between Bar Team, Restaurant Team and Kitchen team is of a high standard • Maintain standards for health & safety and wellbeing in all service areas

• You must have a passion for the hospitality industry • A minimum of 2 years in a professional high paced restaurant or bar • Commitment to providing excellent guest experiences • Advanced knowledge of POS Systems • Numeracy skills • Outstanding knowledge of local and international food and beverage trends • Leadership & training skills • Reliable transportation to and from work
